Music to My Ears

If you were to ask me what genre of music is my favorite I'd tell you Country without missing a beat. Yes there is that T'wang that turns a lot of people off, but because of the pop infusion the more modern stuff has drifted away from the T'wang sound. And no the majority of country music is not about tractors, beer, and honky tonks. The reason I love it so much is that it's the genre I find that relates so much to real life, everyday experiences, dreams. It doesn't often have a lot of the trashy lyrics that come with annoying pop songs or a bunch of things young children should not be allowed to hear like some other genres. Anyway, I know it's not for everyone, but it is for me. Hence the list below.

15 Country Songs That I Love

1) I Go Back (Kenny Chesney)
2) Making Memories of Us (Keith Urban)
3) Cruise (Florida Georgia Line)
4) Paint Me a Birmingham (Tracy Lawrence)
5) She's Everything (Brad Paisley)
6) Fly Over States (Jason Aldean)
7) The River (Garth Brooks)
8) Red Dirt Road (Brooks & Dunn)
9) I Got a Car (George Strait)
10) One of Those Nights (Tim McGraw)
11) Some Hearts (Carrie Underwood)
12) Talladega (Eric Church)
13) What About Now? (Lonestar)
14) We Rode in Trucks (Luke Bryan)
15) Homegrown (Zac Brown Band)

It was hard not to include a number of songs on this list, but I wanted to highlight songs by some of my favorite artists across the country spectrum. And as a lover of music, I love when people suggest songs or post music videos of what they're currently jamming to. I've found a lot of good songs that way, even if I'm not a big fan of the genre. So I encourage you to give these a listen.
